featuring guest speakers, demo's, and much more. Meetings are
followed by a light luncheon provide by WGC members.

Annual Plant Auction

Speaker: Members Plant Sale
Join us for this yearly plant auction where members bring something from their garden to share with the gardening community including plants and perennials, a bouquet of flowers, vegetables or even a house plant. Plants will go to the highest bidder by our favorite auctioneer, Sandy.
Be sure to attend for unusual and lovely plants PLUS Bargains galore!
Annual Meeting Out at Rizzo's

Our annual "Meeting Out" held at Rizzo's Malabar Inn was fabulous fun! Doug Oster KDKA host and author presented a wonderful program on gardening. And We enjoyed a delicious Rizzo's luncheon!
This year's silent auction was a BIG fundraiser for WGC – as were all the fabulous Raffle Baskets. Many Thanks to all who donated items!!

Speaker: J.D. Peterson: "How to create a beautiful – yet simple, Holiday Centerpiece using Dollar Tree faux florals.
Floral Designer J.D. Peterson gave e a step-by-step floral demonstration on how to create a beautiful holiday centerpiece, with either fresh or silk florals. The floral designs were raffled for the door prize. We all enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by our wonderful board and volunteers.

Holiday 'Covered Dish' Party

Event: Annual Christmas Party "Pot Luck"
Bring a 'classic' doll or toy from our childhood.
After a year of gardening and fund raisers our members celebrate the season with the Annual WGC Christmas Party. Members –please bring your favorite recipes including salads, side dishes, or desserts for a fabulous Potluck indulgence of delicious food.
ALSO – Please bring a Doll or significant toy from your childhood, If you have a stand to display your doll or toy, please bring that as well. We will set up our dolls and share a memory explaining why this toy or doll is special to us.
Join us for our December Member Meeting – a holiday celebration featuring delicious food, Christmas carols and as always - a door prize.

Westmoreland Garden Council is busy preparing for 2026 and another year of fabulous
events - including the fabulous Spring Tea, May Mart Plant sale, the August Butterfly Release and sooooo much more.
