Place: Hannas Town Historical Site - Meet at Hanna's Town

We had a large turn out for our visit to The Dyer’s Garden at Historic Hanna’s Town. Our tour guide discussed the plants in the kitchen garden and other plants used to create natural dyes on the Pennsylvania frontier. We were each given a brochure of indigenous plants. The tour ended just in time for our monthly meeting under the pavilion - as the skies opened and poured down torrents of rain for our picnic lunch. The day was filled with adventure and in spite of the rainstorm, we had a fun and informative meeting. .

Speaker: Members Plant Sale
Join us for this yearly plant auction where members bring something from their garden to share with the gardening community including plants and perennials, a bouquet of
flowers, vegetables or even a house plant. Plants will go to the highest bidder by our favorite auctioneer, Sandy.
If you don’t have anything to share, that’s ok! Come join us and bid on anything that strikes your fancy. Bring a friend for a really good time and stay for a light lunch.
MEMBERS: Now's the time to thin your plants or share samples of your favorites for the auction.
Be sure to attend for unusual and lovely plants PLUS Bargains galore!

Join us for our annual "Meeting Out" held at Rizzo's Malabar Inn. Doug Oster KDKA host and author will present a program. on gardening. There will be chances to win a wonderful Door prize, or one of many fabulous Raffle Baskets. We will enjoy a delicious Rizzo's luncheon, known for their great food, which is why this meeting is a favorite with our members. Be sure to join us for this fun annual event.

Centerpiece using Dollar Tree faux florals.
Floral Designer J.D. Peterson will give a step-by-step floral
demonstration on how YOU can create a beautiful holiday
centerpiece, with either fresh or silk florals, followed by a light lunch.

Event: Annual Christmas Party "Pot Luck"
After a year of gardening and fund raisers our members celebrate the season with the Annual WGC Christmas Party. Members bring their favorite recipes including assortment of salads, sides and desserts for a fabulous indulgence of delicious food. Christmas carols and a door prize, be sure to join us for this holiday celebration.
