The Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania is offering thirteen
Scholarships to students who plan to further their education in
Agriculture Education, Agronomy, Floriculture, Horticulture, Landscape
Architecture, Botany, Biology (excluding Medical), Conservation,
Environmental Concerns (Management: Environmental Engineering,
Conservation, etc.), Forestry, Plant Pathology, City (Rural/Urban)
Planning, Wildlife Science, Land Management, and/or allied subjects.
Each Scholarship Award is a minimum of $1,000.00.
GCFP scholarship information and an application can be found on the
website www.pagardenclubs.org. (Forms Library}. These scholarships
are available to high school seniors, college or graduate students who
are residents of Pennsylvania.
All applications must be signed by a sponsoring federated garden club in
the applicant's local. Forms can be 2lled out online before printing.
Questions can be directed to the scholarship chairman listed on the
website.
The deadline for all Applications is the 1st of February
A STUDENT WHO IS A SOPHOMORE (OR ABOVE) IN COLLEGE APPLYING FOR THE
GCFP SCHOLARSHIP CAN ALSO APPLY FOR A NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP BY FILLING
OUT BOTH GCFP AND NGC APPLICATIONS. ONLY ONE NGC WINNER PER STATE IS
ALLOWED PER YEAR.
